Job Title: Quantity Surveyor

Job Description:
As a Quantity Surveyor in a renovation and interior design firm, you will be responsible for managing the costs and contracts of interior fit-out and renovation projects. You will work closely with project teams, designers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure that all financial aspects are well planned, monitored, and controlled.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cost Estimation & Budgeting
- Prepare initial cost estimates, detailed Bills of Quantities (BQ), and budget forecasts for interior renovation projects.
- Leadership ( Lead the team)
- Manage and conduct QS team in order to comply number of BQ per week.
- 4 BQ’s with value 2.5M
- Tender & Procurement Management
- Prepare tender documents, evaluate quotations, and assist in appointing contractors and suppliers.
- Contract Administration
- Manage project contracts and ensure compliance with contractual terms and timelines.
- Progress Claims & Payment Management
- Prepare, submit, and verify progress claims, valuations, and final accounts with contractors and clients.
- Site Measurement & Valuation
- Conduct site visits for progress checks and quantity take-offs to support claims and payments.
- Cost Control
- Monitor project expenditures and variations, and provide cost-saving recommendations where necessary.
- Reporting
- Produce regular cost reports and financial updates for management and stakeholders.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Building Economics, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years’ experience in quantity surveying, preferably in
- interior design,
- renovation,
- or fit-out projects.
3. Skills & Knowledge:
- Strong knowledge of interior construction methods, materials, and finishes.
- Proficient in BQ preparation and cost estimation with an advance Excel expertise.
- Good negotiation and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
4. Others:
- Able to work independently and in a team.
- Willing to travel to site locations.
- Familiarity with local building codes and contract laws is an advantage.
- Experience handling luxury or high-end renovation works.
- Familiar with ID detailing and technical drawings.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines with multiple project timelines.
