Senior Drafter

Job Summary

The Senior Drafter has an in-depth understanding of the interior with expertise in interior design and construction projects. Experience in drafting for interior design and construction projects.

Proven track record in residential and commercial projects, including luxury properties and fit outs.

Familiarity with local building codes, standards, and regulations.

Understanding material specifications, finishes, and fabrication techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Technical Drafting

• Prepare detailed technical drawings, plans, and blueprints based on design concepts provided by architects or interior designers with architecture standard.
• Create 2D and 3D drawings, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and detailed construction drawings, understand and able to proposed space planning.
• Develop shop drawings for custom furniture, cabinetry, and millwork.
• Understand design flexibility in technical drawing.

2.Design Collaboration

• Collaborate closely with interior designers and project managers to translate concepts into accurate technical drawings.
• Ensure all drawings adhere to project specifications, client requirements, and local building regulations.
• Provide technical input to refine design concepts and enhance functionality.

3. Project Coordination

• Review and coordinate designs with contractors, engineers, and other stakeholders to resolve discrepancies and ensure smooth execution.
• Update drawings to reflect on-site changes or client feedback.
• Maintain drawing logs and ensure timely submission of documentation.
• Familiar on drawing submission to architect and authorities.

4. Quality Assurance

• Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and compliance of all drawings with company standards and industry codes.
• Conduct regular checks to ensure drawings align with project timelines and budgets.

5. Team Leadership

• Guide and mentor junior drafters, providing technical advice and support as needed.
• Review and approve drafting work to maintain high-quality standards

Update, revised and upgrade drafting template to improve drafting progress.

Job Requirements

• Proficiency in drafting software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar tools.
• Strong knowledge of construction detailing, materials, and methods.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
