Quantity Surveying – Internship
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing cost estimates and budgets for construction and renovation projects.
- Support in the preparation of tender documents, contracts, and bills of quantities.
- Help in evaluating supplier and contractor quotations and conducting cost analysis.
- Assist in tracking project expenses and managing cost control measures.
- Work with the team to perform site measurements and verify contractor claims.
- Participate in site visits to monitor project progress and ensure adherence to project specifications.
- Support in preparing valuation reports and final account statements.
- Maintain accurate records of project documentation and cost data.
- Assist in reviewing project plans and specifications to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Collaborate with the team to resolve any cost-related issues during project execution.
Requirements:
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Strong interest in cost estimation, budgeting, and construction management.
Skills:
- Good analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.
- Basic knowledge of quantity surveying principles and practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
