Job Title: Project Executive – Interior Design and Construction

Job Summary:
The Project Executive is responsible for overseeing and coordinating interior design and construction projects from inception to completion. This includes managing client relationships, ensuring quality standards, monitoring budgets, and meeting project timelines. The role demands strong organizational skills, effective communication, and a keen eye for design and technical details.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Coordination
- Collaborate with clients, designers, and contractors to develop project briefs, schedules, and deliverables.
- Prepare project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
- Conduct site surveys to assess project feasibility and scope.
Client Relationship Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, updates, and concerns.
- Ensure client requirements and expectations are clearly communicated to the project team.
Design and Construction Oversight
- Work with design teams to develop layouts, material specifications, and design concepts.
- Oversee contractors and vendors to ensure work aligns with approved designs and quality standards.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, resolve issues, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Budget and Cost Control
- Monitor project expenses and track against the approved budget.
- Review and approve invoices, change orders, and vendor agreements.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
Quality Assurance and Compliance
- Ensure adherence to local building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Perform final inspections and coordinate handovers with clients.
Documentation and Reporting
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, reports, and drawings.
- Provide regular progress updates to stakeholders.
Job Requirement:
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar) and project management tools.
- Knowledge of construction processes, materials, and standards.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in interior design, Architecture, Construction Management, or related fields.
Experience: 3+ years in project management within the interior design or construction industry.
