Interior Designer – Internship

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist in creating interior design concepts, mood boards, and presentations.
2. Support in drafting floor plans, 3D renderings, and technical drawings using design software.
3. Collaborate with the design team to source materials, finishes, and furnishings.
4. Participate in client meetings and contribute to discussions on design preferences and requirements.
5. Help prepare project documentation, including design proposals and project timelines.
6. Conduct site visits to monitor project progress and ensure adherence to design specifications.
7. Research design trends, innovative solutions, and sustainability practices for interior spaces.
8. Assist in coordinating with contractors, suppliers, and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials.
9. Maintain an organized design library, including catalogs and samples.
10. Provide administrative support to the design team as needed.

Requirements:

Qualifications:

1. Currently pursuing a Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
2. Strong passion for design and creativity.

Skills:

1. Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or 3ds Max.
2. Basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator).
3. Strong attention to detail and ability to visualize design concepts.
4. Effective verbal and written communication skills.
5. Good organizational and time-management abilities.
